2010 will be a Kampfar year in the name of making music. We will
use a big share of the year finishing the next album and finally
enter studio!We will do a
very limited amount of festival appearances, and thats it. The
fist festivals booked for 2010 is the mighty french Hellfest Open
Air and Winternoise.Hellfest will be our only show in france,
and most probably the only show in western Europe 2010. Be sure
to visite, as we will not save anything on these shows! Expect
INFERNO!!!See you all there!

KAMPFAR and VREID will team up for a co-headlining European tour,
dubbed A Skogstur In Central Europe 2009, in February. Support
on the trek will come from ISKALD.

Press announcement from Napalm Records: Kampfar's
journey to the Netherworld: First in the list is the legendary
Norwegianband KAMPFAR, who will add yet another glorious release
to their discography. Led by the charismatic frontman Dolk, KAMPFAR
delivers raw Pagan Folklore Metal that
will send shivers down the spine of old school Metal fans. "Heimgang"
was caught on tape by Rune Joergensen of Silverstone Studio, Norway.
His production emphasizesthe darkand majestic atmosphere of KAMPFAR's
latest offering. Napalm Records will unleash "Heimgang"
